14 | entire | =whole/complete(谁都知道whole和complete常用,但有多少国内同学爱用entire这个地道英文里的高频词呢?而且它的副词entirely也是在考试时替换completely的选择。牢记在口语里entire后面跟名词,entirely后面跟形容词 | (1) He ate the entire cake and made no apology for that (2) Our situation is entirely different from theirs.
