生活必备口语--weather and season（天气与季节） 对话篇
在季节的划分上，外国和中国并没有什么区别，欧洲、北美洲和亚洲都在北半球，季节都是一样的，只是中国可能更多地用农历划分。
Dialogue1---- 天气不错
W:Beautiful day, isn’t it?
M:Yes, it’s not like what the radio said at all.
W:I wish it would stay this way for the weekend.
M:As long as it doesn’t snow.
W：天气不错吧，对吧？
M：是啊，根本不像广播的那样。
W：我希望到周末一直是这样
M：只要别下雪就行。
※ stay ：保持，相当于keep.
As long as: 只要，如： I’ll go there as long as I finish my homework,(只要完成作业我就去)
Dialogue2---- 韩国气候
W:What’s the weather like during summer in Korea?
M:It’s usually hot, wet and humid.
W:Then which season of the year do you like best?
M:I love autumn. It’s usually bright, sunny and mild.
W：韩国夏天天气如何？
M：通常又热又潮又湿。
W：那你*喜欢哪个季节？
M：我喜欢秋天。秋天通常都天气晴朗，阳光明媚，气候宜人。
Dialogue3----天气真糟糕
W:The weather is terrible.
M:Yes, it was sunny and warm yesterday. But the wind is really blowing hard now.
W:I am wearing my heavy jacket.
M:I am going to put on more clothes too.
W: 天气真糟糕。
M：是啊，昨天还是阳光明媚,天气温暖，今天却刮起了大风。
W：我已经穿上厚外套了。
M：我也要多穿点衣服了。
※put on 穿，戴上，表动作，区别于wear 穿着，表状态。
Dialogue4---- 天气闷热
W:What’s the weather going to be like tomorrow?
M:The weather forecast calls for another scorching day.
W:Don’t tell me the highs will be in the 90’s again.
M:Well, at least we will be a dry day with low humidity.
W：明天天气怎么样？
M：天气预报上说，明天又是灼热的一天。
W: 别告诉我*高气温又会升到华氏90度。
M: 至少又是干闷的一天。
※gonna: 将要，相当于going to ; call for: 为…叫喊。
Dialogue5---- 阴天
W:I wonder when this wet weather will clear up?
M:Not for a while, because we are in the middle of the monsoon season.
W:I am getting sick and tired of this hot, muggy and gloomy weather.
M:But it beats frigid weather of winter, doesn’t it? And the weatherman expects overcast skies to clear up by sunrise and the winds to die down.
W：我在想什么时候这种阴雨天会放晴。
M：暂时不会，我们正处于季风时节。
W: 我真是受够了这闷热，阴沉的天气。
M：可是至少比干冷的冬天要好点吧。天气预报说，明天会多云转晴，风力减弱。
※ clear up: 天晴，是常用词组
Monsoon: 季风，雨季
Overcast:多云的
